Location: Ashgrove, Queensland

Located on a ridge line, this site presented challenges in relation to its visual dominance and steep slope. The development was conceptualised as three distinct building forms arranged around the corners of the site, in order to reduce its overall scale and provide discrete parking.

Private gardens and direct street access enhance the amenity of dwellings along the street front, while a central courtyard provides the opportunity for communal open space. Loft style apartments are housed in the steep roof cavity of level three, while levels one

Internal planning maximises the flexibility of living areas, while also connecting the occupant to their surroundings by opening directly onto external space.
